Casa de S. Julião

This beautifull country house cottage ("Casa de S. Julião") has two bedroom, sleeping 4/6 people, one double room and one twin room.

There is a lovely, spacious, oak-beamed kitchen fully equipped and with a nice balcony ideal to have meals at open-air overlooking the countryside views across private forest towards the "River Tamega".

The twin bedroom has an en-suite bathing room with toilet and bath.




The dinning area is a light and airy lounge with an open pitched roof and a log burning stove. There is also a stone fireplace.

There is also a double bedroom, again with open beams and countryside views, next to this is the family bathroom. Towels and bed linen included.

There are many places to visit and plenty of things to do in and around the local area. You can appreciate the beautiful riverside with fantastic views and many different walks for all abilities at the owners private forest.

S. Julião cottage is a very high standard, very well-equipped and has it’s own private garden area and plenty of car-parking space.

The centuries old village of ‘Amarante’, just at 7Kms, with it’s famous "St. Gonçalo's Church" is well worth a visit.

Amarante has lots of eating places. There is a real treat for the whole family (only a 5 minute drive) at Aquapark where there is an indoor wave swimming pool with various activities throughout the day to keep the children happy.
"Amarante" hosts the ‘Amadeu Sousa Cardoso’ museum and lots of art galleries. Amarante's center offers an abundance of recreational facilities, shopping, fishing & cannoing at ‘River Tamega.’ There is also a mountain golf course open to non-members.
